Middle Ground

Basketball skills & mindset training

The complete athlete can only become so when their mindset matches their ability.

Middle Ground training develops skills on the court while building confidence, leadership, and resilience off of it — empowering players to perform at their best and thrive beyond the jersey.

Meet the Trainer:

Claire Killian, MS, CPT

Claire Killian is a former Division I basketball player who competed at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Over her eighteen years of basketball experience, she not only discovered who she was as a player, but also recognized what was missing: the often-overlooked side of training that teaches athletes they are more than their performance. With this realization, she now strives to help players develop a deeper mindset to see themselves as whole individuals, not just athletes.

Her training focuses on advancing players’ basketball skills, IQ, and execution, while equally emphasizing the lifelong qualities that matter on and off the court: confidence, resilience, and leadership.

Claire’s middle ground approach helps athletes grow as complete players and as individuals prepared to thrive in every area of life.
